Note Cards
1. Have on desk daily to add definitions and examples
2. Use for flash cards to memorize terms, definitions, examples
3. Use for verbal or written concept mapping
4,6,8… Fold Papers
1. Good for organizing lists or concepts with steps
2. Use for organizing important data into a specific place
3. Study by reading, rewriting, and verbal quizzing
Reading the Book Chapters
1. Reread!
2. Take notes over your reading

3. On-line review games are also provided under each chapter tab
Concept Mapping
1. Create forest for the trees maps following the guidelines taught in class
2. Use note cards by choosing 4-8 cards at random and verbally/rewrite to connect
3+ Column Sheets
1. Use to rewrite vocabulary into Term, Definitions, Examples
2. Good technique to have an organized rewrite plan
3. Use for any rewrite that can be placed into columns…

Quizzing
1. Utilize the learning targets and vocabulary provided at the beginning of each Chapter to create questions and then answer.
2. Use note cards to do the same as #1
Red-Pen
1. Utilize this technique to make all corrections and expand your work
2. Reread your red-pen additions to labs and class work
KUD Sheet
1. Use flashcards on line to test your vocab knowledge.
2. Cross off the words that you know, and highlight the words that you don't.
3. Ask yourself the knows.
4. For the ones that you get right cross off and highlight the ones that you don't.
5. Make flashcards for anything that is highlighted.
6. See website for the Chapter we are studying and use links that correspond to the concepts you are lagging on.
Review Games On-line
1. Play review games (green links) under the Chapter we are studying.
2. Review the concepts that you missed.
3. DO NOT JUST REPLAY THE GAME!!!
